With 25 mental fitness ‘plays’ unpacked by some of Australia’s favourite athletes, this program is perfect for individuals to learn self-directed strategies that have a real impact on everyday wellbeing.
Participants will learn to integrate key positive psychology practices into daily life, including:
Gratitude and mindfulness
Mood-boosting activations
Building social connections
Nutrition to fuel your mood
Sleep hygiene
Movement and activities to improve energy
Stress regulation
Positive self-talk and confidence building strategies.
-
Over 25 days you will complete a daily positive psychology activity (the ‘play’). The Plays are introduced via a short video from successful Australian athletes, who use these Plays in their own lives.
Users can access the plays anytime, anywhere, via our eLearning portal. Each play takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete, and only one play can be completed each day.
Schedule a time of day that employees can logon and complete the daily play, as part of your workplace wellbeing program.
Or, allow teams to complete the play in their own time each day, at a time that suits them.
Participants will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course.
Also available as a physical workbook.
Be Buoyant: Psychosocial Training
-
Be Buoyant is a Psychosocial Hazard Reduction training program developed by Learning and Development experts to address key psychosocial hazards in the workplace.
A dynamic digital training experience, Be Buoyant has been designed with a fun, engaging interface with athlete integration, to make building resilience and individual wellbeing both enjoyable and impactful.
-
A mentally healthy workforce is a more engaged and productive one. Reducing psychosocial risks helps prevent burnout, stress, and absenteeism, ensuring employees feel motivated and supported to do their best work.
Addressing psychosocial hazards early can significantly reduce expenses tied to absenteeism, turnover, healthcare, and compensation claims, helping employers avoid costly disruptions.
A safe, respectful, and inclusive environment attracts and retains top talent. Proactively managing psychosocial risks fosters trust, loyalty, and stronger workplace relationships.
With increasing regulations around psychosocial safety, compliance is essential. Implementing psychosocial hazard reduction programs ensures your organisation stays ahead of legal requirements and demonstrates your commitment to employee well-being.
-
The digital program consists of seven modules that are self-paced (2.5 hours in total). Businesses can run this as a self-paced program or structure it to suit their organisational requirements.
The Be Buoyant program includes seven modules, with a total duration of 2.5 hours:
How to reduce psychological risks
Health and wellbeing in the workplace
Conflict resolution and managing conflicts
Team building and communication
Resilience strategies (movement, diet, sleep)
Behaviours management
Training for leaders
Organisations can choose how they’d like to implement the program to suit their operational needs.
Module resources are also available independently, offering a continuous tool for individuals to refer to at any time.
